From Monday 29 to Wednesday 31 March, our 16 Student Whānau Leaders had a wonderful time in the Bay of Islands exploring Kororāreka, Waitangi and then checking out Ruapekapeka on the way home. They built on their leadership skills through challenges and exercise as a whānau, as well as developing new chants and understanding their new leadership role. The students also took in what strong, cultural leaders of the past accomplished for Aotearoa - We were super lucky to have awesome and highly knowledgeable guides for both Waitangi and Ruapekapeka. The students were highly inspired and took a great deal out of it! Ka mau te wehi! Awesome!!
